APPLE-ESS (Annapolis)

I am so excited for warm weather! Last year every weekend of nice weather we had meant a day at Sandy Point Beach and a bowl of crab bisque in Annapolis (or Apple-ess as Kate calls it). We spent our first nice weather day this year in Annapolis on Saturday. (Still to cold for the beach.) Which meant crab bisque, boat watching (which Kate LOVES), ice cream cones, messy shirts, and walking Jane around on a leash! I got a lot of strange looks that day. Particularly from the dog walkers on the pier. Am I treating my child like an animal?! And if so, Is it REALLY as bad as all of the looks I got implied it was?!
